My family has two main places for grocery shopping: the local Farmers' Market and Isagenix. Our girls are 6 and 4 years old and they eat a lot of the Isagenix products too. Bags packed, lunches made, clothes ready for wear! So nice to see, and hear, the excitement from one going to grade two and one just beginning J.K.! I sure hope this joy of learning continues for the rest of their lives.

JOINT PAIN RELIEF

PAY YOUR LOCAL FARMER OR THE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM

I don't know about you, but I find it difficult to understand when I see young kids drinking pop, or as a classroom teacher, some of the lunches and snacks with which kids arrive at school.  I understand that there are monetary issues for some of these cases, but buying a whole organic chicken is not more expensive than buying a week's worth of Lunchables.  I love when films like this are made. I think everyone needs to watch it. We have an epidemic; not just in the States either. Choose organic, choose local.  Your thoughts?

BACK TO SCHOOL!

Teaching is such a unique profession. We are so fortunate to work with kids/young adults, and our staff, to learn from them as much as they learn from us. The start of a new year is always exciting and filled with great expectations. This is the first year in my 15 years of teaching that I have not had to set up a classroom...my role this year is to work with students and teachers in a variety of schools, not one specific classroom. It is just for the year, but it sure is different start! I look forward to the opportunity and hope to come away in June with a lot of new ideas for my classroom the following year.
